Facilitator: Dr. Sayeed Islam

Assistant Professor, Farmingdale State University

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

As the role of the trainer and instructional designer evolves, organizations demand more of your talent and time. Your trainees are required not just to appear in a training program but to maintain this learning over time. This ASTD Long Island Workshop reviews a variety of ways in which we as training professionals can make learning stick. This session will cover a series of case studies and challenge participants to use their expertise to develop solutions to common problems in maintaining learning. Grounded in theory and focused on practice and application, this program will help you master your professional capacity for making learning last.

We also invite you to join us on June 25th to have your voices heard on the re-branding of ASTD.

Dr. Sy Islam has over 10 years of experience in a variety of corporate, academic, and applied settings. He has served in management, consultant and research roles. He currently works as an Assistant Professor and continues to collaborate with organizations through consulting engagements in his areas of expertise. He is a passionate advocate for the field of Industrial-Organizational Psychology and uses the techniques and tools of I/O psychology in his consulting practice.
