PRESIDENT: Stephanie Burke SPHR, SHRM-SCP (Human Resources  Manager, Atlas Financial Holdings) joins us with a rich Human Resources background  and a passion for learning.She is experienced in all areas of Human Resources  including performance management and talent development. Stephanie earned her Bachelors degree in Business  Administration - Human Resource Management from Baruch College and MS Human  Resource Management from St. Joseph's College. 


VP, OUTREACH: Claudine Cangiano is a people experience leader and strategic management operations professional with 15+ years success in growing and large organizations including Northwell Health and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  Claudine is committed to guiding organizations, teams and individuals through culture transformation and transitions.  Ms. Cangiano holds a BA in psychology from Georgetown University, MS in psychology from Saint Louis University, and MPH, Health Services Management, from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.  Claudine is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner trained at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. 

VP, MARKETING & COMM:  Kate Kearney is an award-winning talent, organizational development, and operations management professional with over 20 of experience finding ways to help individuals and organizations achieve their fullest potential. Kate’s professional background includes marketing, operations management, and talent development within the life sciences, music, real estate, publishing, higher education, legal, and logistics industries. Her work has been recognized by eLearning Magazine for creating an award-winning learning culture and a best-in-class collaborative environment for employees. Kate holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Business Management from NYU and an MBA in Executive Management from Pace University.

VP, TECHNOLOGY:  Shandy Arroyo is an experienced professional with a relentless commitment to continuous improvement and leadership development.  She has over twenty years of experience across different areas of Human Resources and in Continuous Improvement.  She has worked across various industries including Insurance, Financial Services, Communications, Retail, Energy and is currently in Healthcare as the Director of Corporate Education & Training at Stony Brook Medicine.  Shandy earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Queens College – City University of New York and earned her Master’s in Science in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology.

DIRECTOR, MARKETING & COMM: Lisa Privett-Wood (Sr. Manager Learning, Global Operations, Hilton) has spent her career in Learning and Human Resources, working in the Hospitality industry. She holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Lisa served as Chapter President and VP Programming for ATD LI.

DIRECTOR,  TECHNOLOGY & PAST PRESIDENT:  Larry Kravitz (Senior Organizational Development Manager, Henry Schein) has spent over 24 years in the learning and development arena. Larry loves providing inspirational workshops, with experience facilitating leadership development, sales, and technical training.  He provides comprehensive learning support in training design and development as well as learning management system expertise. Larry has held certifications from Blanchard, Covey, Workplace Connections, Netspeed Leadership, Predictive Index, and Mind Gym.  He has earned a Six Sigma Green Belt in methodology and has been recognized by Training Magazine as an Effective Performance Consultant.  Larry has served as VP Finance,VP Membership, and President.

All comments/proposals will be reviewed with our Board for consideration of an upcoming session. Presentations should be educational/developmental opportunities for our membership and topics should align with the ATD Competency Model which can be viewed at https://www.td.org/Certification/Competency-Model.
